Remove all cookies form browser

Cookies are small pieces of data that are sent to and from your browser to identify you. When you open a website, your browser sends a piece of data to the web server hosting that website. This data usually appears as strings of numbers and letters in a text file. Cookies are a hidden, yet integral part of the online experience. They are used to customize our interactions, save login information, and personalize our experience on a website.

Delete the browser cookies

The process of deleting cookies varies depending on the web browser you are using. Here are the steps to delete cookies in popular browsers:

Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open chrome.
  2. At the top right, click “More”. (three dots vertical)
  3. Click More tools and then “Clear browsing data”.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files”, check the boxes.
  6. Click on “Clear data”.

Safari

  1. Open Safari and click on “Safari” in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Select “Preferences” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on “Privacy” in the top menu bar.
  4. Click on “Manage Website Data”.
  5. Click on “Remove All”.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the window.
  2. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on “Privacy, search, and services”.
  4. Under “Clear browsing data”, click on “Choose what to clear”.
  5. Select “Cookies and other site data”.
  6. Click on “Clear now”.

Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and click on the three lines in the top right corner of the window.
  2. Select “Options” from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on “Privacy & Security” in the left-hand menu.
  4. Scroll down to “Cookies and Site Data” and click on “Clear Data”.
  5. Select “Cookies and Site Data”.
  6. Click on “Clear”.
